Human sensory-motor neuroscience

A post is available to work with Prof. Chris Miall on predictive human movement, motor control and learning, funded by the Wellcome Trust. The post-holder will be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual, and will work in a well-equipped laboratory within the Behavioural Brain Sciences Centre and Birmingham University Imaging Centre.

Funded until December 2008, the work will involve brain imaging (fMRI, MEG and high density EEG), TMS, and human motor psychophysics. Experience of human psychophysics and computing skills are necessary; experience of electrophysiology or brain imaging would also be an advantage.

Starting salary in the range £23,457 to £30,607 a year (potential progression on performance once in post to £32,490)
